Sad News

Norma and I are going to be going our separate ways! She is such a talented designer and she will be out there continuing to design. I will miss her so much! We will work out all the details and let our quilting friends know.

Life is so short. My mother passed away on Friday, Mar. 8. She was so proud of our business and I will miss her so much. She was 88 years old and it was God's time to take her. She taught me many things and one of them was to be strong. I will always love her for that.

Want a kit?

We are trying something new here on the Blog. We have four "Tulip Table Runner" kits left over from our last retreat. It will be on a first come first serve basis. The price of the kit is $50 which will include pattern and shipping costs. The top measures 24" x 48" and would great on your Spring Table. 

This kit is called "Counting Sheep" it is 12 1/2" x 26" and we have a custom frame that will go with it. We have four kits left with frames. The price including frame and shipping will be $80.

 

The kits may not be the exact fabric, but we try to match it the best we can. We may have used some fabric that is out of stock.

 

The shipping costs are only for the USA we would have to calculate more for International shipments.

Where has the time gone?

This is a quilt Norma just finished called "Love Birds". She made this for her Valentine's table. I love it and wish I had the time to make it!

I made this quilt out of my stash.. it will be called "North Star". I had so much fun making it!  I love digging in my scraps and finding all the "lost" pieces, I had totally forgotten about. Do you have a scrap bin like that? I can't figure out how it keep growing out of control. I usually take a big bag of scraps to classes I teach and try to get rid of some of the clutter.. but I am positive that scraps multiply like rabbits.

"North Star" will be available for sale soon.

Norma and I will be teaching at Winter Quilt Retreat in a couple of weeks. We are excited to get away! The ladies are so much fun and Bryce Canyon is beautiful in the winter. (A bit on the cold side but then Salt Lake is freezing too.)
