I can't believe we are already into February and it is almost over. I went to Florida to visit friends and go to 2 Retreats. It was great. The first retreat was a wool hooking retreat. I am a newbie and it was great fun. Look at all the gorgeous wool.
Here is what we do at "Hooking" retreats--visit old friends and make new friends.
The next retreat was at Camp Blanding in Jacksonville where you just get to work on projects and laugh until you hurt. Great friends and fun there as well.
Here is my first finished Hooked wool project. I made a stool and I just love it. I think I'll be a "hooker" for life.
While staying at my friend Gloria's house we made some fun organizers using big cans. I'm not sure the name of the designer of this pattern but they were great fun to make.
I made two of them.
We also made some fun coasters using a "hickory nut" template. Gloria is always making fun things to give away at retreats and this was a quick, easy project.
This is my "Love Bunny Hop" pattern that I will be teaching next week in sunny San Diego.
We are doing a mini-retreat at Rosie's Calico Cupboard. It is so fun we sew and have pot-luck Friday night and then sew all day Saturday and half day on Sunday. The Shop Hop will be going on at the same time so lots of people to visit with. I'm going to see the new Primitive Gatherings in Murietta while visiting sunny California. Loving my new digs in St. George, Utah. It is nice to be closer to San Diego, one of my favorite places. Thanks for stopping by. I love to get your comments.
