Simpler Days!
Simpler Days
Penny's Posies
We pack up the truck on Saturday and start our drive to Houston on Monday. I can hardly wait. Norma is the "truck driver" on the road and I am the "truck driver" in town. We have such a fun time. We usually take a friend or two with us to help. We stop along the way to visit the wonderful quilt shops. We leave Salt Lake early so we have plenty of time to shop along the way. I will try and do some blogging on our trip, but no promises!
Keep your comments coming friends. We are keeping track for our giveaway.

Busy Getting Ready!
Norma and I have been "nuts" trying to get ready for Fall Quilt Market. Norma has made this great new small quilt called "Star Garden" Don't you love it??? I have two more quilts in the works. Actually one is at the quilters and the other is at the photographer. Nothing like last minute details. Geoff has been busy with patterns. He has been putting a QR code on the back of all the new patterns so that if you have a "smart" phone you can scan the pattern and it will take you right to our website for purchase. Wow, he is a smart kid! I am so blessed to have him. He is my techie. I stayed up til' midnight last night starting a new applique project... want a peek? Let us know what you think.
We are considering having another giveaway after we get back from Market. Leave us a comment and we will draw for a new book on Nov. 1.
Life is busy and we are happy and truly blessed. Take care friends!

We are on our Market count down!
This is a small wall hanging I finished for my kitchen. I love, love, love Chickens! The name of the pattern is going to be "Just Sittin". I believe that is what she is doing.. just sittin.
Rosie's Quilt
This quilt was designed for my friend Rosie Gonzalez. I went
to stay at her home for a visit and the bed I slept in had this wonderful
antique quilt. I loved the pattern so much I had to figure out how to make the
quilt. Rosie is the owner of “Rosie’s Calico Cupboard” in San Diego. It is one
of my all-time favorite shops.

New Book for Fall Market!
Norma and I have been busy! We both love Nine Patches so much. Norma has worked so hard to get this dream to become a reality. What a great partner. I am so lucky! This will be available to the quilt shops at Fall Market. We have published the book ourselves and we know you will love it. The book will have 10 projects in it. Can't wait to get your comments. Hope you like it as much as we do!
