Retreat was a Blast and Giveaway

We had such a great time at the Tea and Stitches retreat in Jacksonville, FL. This is our group photo after the class was finished.

Here is a picture of the quilt that Jan designed.  We learned the Embroidery Stitches used to make this quilt.

Gloria and I had out after retreat drinks and dinner.

Some quilt friends stitching away!

Fun new friends.

On my way home.

I can't wait for next year! I think this is going to become an annual event. Life is too short not to enjoy your stitching friends.  On to the Giveaway.

$30.00 Gift Certificate  to Geoff's Mom Patterns.

I'm leaving next week to go teach a three day mini-retreat at Rosie's Calico Cupboard.
I love traveling to San Diego.  A gift certificate will be awarded on April 29.  Leave your comments to win.

Looks like your retreat was wonderful. I love retreats where quilting happens and life's daily duties don't distract.

A retreat sounds heavenly. I've been dreaming lately about renting a cabin in the woods with a couple of friends so we can just sew our brains out...All we'd need is an "Alice" to cook for us & maybe IV Coffee!

Retreats relax my mind and lower my blood pressure and make me smile more than at any other time in my quilting days. It looks like you and your retreat companions had a very special time together. And that fan quilt -- it's a beauty!
