Spring Cleaning!

Spring has arrived and that means no more procrastinating! Norma and Leslie pitched in to help clean my sewing room! Here they are trying to decide whether to keep or donate to a worthy cause. It is great to have friends decide these things.. takes the worry away! Here they are folding fabric and putting into bins...

My dog Abbie wanted to make sure she was helping...

My other dog "Babe" was supervising...

Can you believe the mess???

My wonderful "civil war" browns...

Here are a few of the completed bins ready for me to label...

My new shelves with baskets for me to organize patterns and projects...

My wonderful organized closet... (do you think I have TOO MUCH FABRIC?) Livy helped me organize the larger pieces on the bottom shelf.

I love my pin cushions.. and Norma will not throw away a pin.. so she kept sticking them in my cute pin cushions.

Oh yes.. one more organizer.. love the shoe organizer I put on the closet door helps keep the odd sized stuff together..

So now you know why.. I haven't blogged because I haven't had much time.. it is amazing how much I had accumulated.. yikes it can be scarrrry! Thanks to my wonderful friends I now have a great place to sew! More patterns to come..
Thanks to http://www.fatquartershop.com/ for carrying my patterns.. I LOVE THIS SHOP!
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter! I am heading to St. George for the weekend to getaway for a few days!

You most certainly do NOT have too much fabric. There is not such thing! I am quite envious of you!
Can't wait to see what you make next!

I'm back. I've been thinking of Norma and Leslie coming to help you out. I really would like a professional or even non-pro to come help me organize my sewing room to utilize my fabric to the best of ability. Maybe I will advertise on the blog and say I'll make them a quilt if they do it. Well, that might attract non-quilters. Hmm. A quilter wouldn't want another quilt I think. Maybe I could pay in fabric! I gotta do something. It isn't really messy but I am not using my space to the full potential.
