"Welcome My Friends" Giveaway

I love sewing lots of small pieces together. I am working on the appliqued border and watching the Olympics and Longmire. Oh I think I am smitten with Sheriff Longmire. Have any of you seen that show? It is on Netflix and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I even ordered the series for my dad on dvd. I think he will enjoy it.

I started writing the pattern for this table topper today. it will be called "Welcome My Friends". I came down with the shingles again a few weeks ago so I have had lots of resting time. I got right on the meds and I am doing so much better.

Would you like to win the 1st published pattern of this newest design? Please leave a comment. I am not sure when it will be published. Geoff is in the process of writing two other patterns. It is next in line after that. That will give you some time for commenting. I am hopeful that it will be finished by Mar 15, 2014. I am off to have a date with Sheriff Longmire? Oh wait. The Bachelor is on tonight. I'd better check it out.

Take care friends!
P.S. Get a shingles shot if you haven't had one.

What a great pattern. Love to make small patterns and this would be perfect little quilt to give a friend who is moving away. Another hit.

Both are just great patterns! I love the border on the first one (the red berries really make the quilt 'pop') and the table topper has such lovely colors!!

Hope you are feeling better very soon - I think shingles are just the worst!!!!

I love all your patterns.. The first one I saw and bought was in a quilt shop in Springfield or Springville Utah while traveling... Took my breath away. Keep up the great work.

I love this pattern especially the pineapples. Of course Longmire is my favorite, too. The books are great too.

Wow, Joyce. You have been busy and the new designs are awesome. I'm really into little quilts right now and that one is truly speaking to me. So sorry about the Shingles. I guess I should feel lucky that I've never had them. Take care!

A cotton quilt with wool applique? That's exactly what I love - please throw my name in the drawing for your great giveaway. We've been fans of Longmire since it started! A shingles shot is on my to-do list cuz I've heard how very painful it can be if you get them......

Your new quilt is a beauty!! I'd love to have the pattern. Glad your outbreak of singles is under control. That's a nasty illness to have.

You know I love all your patterns and would especially like Welcome my Friends AND Home Sweet Home for myself. I come from KS -- although I now live in AZ -- and the state flower of KS is the Sunflower. Anything that says "Home" and/or "Welcome" is good!

Is the first picture one of your designs? Love it. What's the name of the pattern?

I love this table topper! It would be a great way to use scraps - and I think I might use wool scraps for the applique. Thanks for the chance to win. I'm glad you are feeling better!

Another pattern on my "must make" list. I have heart too many shingles horror stories, so I got my shot as soon as I turned 60.
